Deja Vu – the world’s largest adult nightclub group (they own 150 strip clubs) – has crowned Hayla Faye from Deja Vu Showgirls Kalamazoo (aka Little Darlings Stripclub) as its 2019 Showgirl of the Year!
The championship competition was held at The World-Famous Little Darlings Las Vegas on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, with ten finalists competing for over $30,000 in cash and prizes.
Showgirl of the Year, a nationwide showgirl talent search produced by Deja Vu, grades finalists based on three competitive sections: a bikini pageant, a talent show, and a sophisticated thematic pole routine.
In September, over 100 Deja Vu locations nationally held local Showgirl of the Year competitions, with an initial $75,000-plus in prizes going out to local winners.
Ten finalists were selected from Deja Vu’s online voting system, where over 45,000 votes were cast online!
“Showgirl of the Year is just plain fun,” explains Ryan Carlson, Deja Vu’s director of operations. “It’s meant to be a reward for high-caliber entertainers and management teams who know how to produce a spectacular show. With over $100,000-plus in cash and prizes dolled out for this event nationally, it’s truly the most exciting and special event of its kind.”
Hayla Faye, who performs at Deja Vu clubs from Michigan to Florida, traveled nearly 2,000 miles to secure the coveted Showgirl of the Year crown.
The annual competition, the largest of its kind, extends the national champion an array of prizes, including $8,000 cash, a $15,000 plastic surgery, an 8-club national feature tour, and a centerfold appearance in Deja Vu’s world-renowned Showgirl Calendar.
“This year’s finalists were extremely talented,” continues Carlson. “The talent level seems to just keep improving nationally. I can’t even imagine the shows we’ll see next year!”
The World-Famous Little Darlings, a flagship Deja Vu location, hosted the annual event to nearly 1,500 spectators and supporters. Fans flocked from around the country to support their favorite finalists.
Next year’s Showgirl of the Year competition starts in September 2020.
