WonderFest is one of the premier science-fiction, horror, fantasy, and movie-modeling conventions in the United States, held annually in Louisville since 1990.
It combines a major model-building competition, celebrity guests from film and television, special-effects artists, dealers, workshops, seminars, and fan events into a single weekend.
The annual Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards are presented there, making it an important gathering for horror fandom.
Many attendees compete in the prestigious Amazing Model Contest.
