The Traverse City International Fireworks Championship is a 2-night competition in which 6 professional pyrotechnic teams from around the world create elaborate fireworks displays synchronized to music.
Unlike an ordinary community fireworks show, this is a judged international competition. Three countries perform each evening, spectators vote for a nightly Fan Choice winner and judges select the overall champion.
Food and beverages are sold around the stadium concourse. Organizers recommend entering the stadium by 7:30 p.m. at the latest to avoid missing the first performance.
