Rush is coming to Detroit!
It is the first time Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have toured together since 2015. The “Fifty Something Tour” celebrates more than 50 years of Rush and honors drummer and lyricist Neil Peart, who died in 2020.
Acclaimed German drummer Anika Nilles, formerly part of Jeff Beck’s touring band, is joining Lee and Lifeson. Neil Peart’s widow and daughter endorsed the tour.
This is a must-see Detroit concert if you have any meaningful interest in classic rock, progressive rock or Rush.
It may be the last major opportunity to see Lee and Lifeson perform an extensive Rush program together.
