Developed by Cold Iron Studios and published by Daybreak Game Company, the sequel expands the original game’s cooperative Xenomorph combat with four-player squads, five starting classes and a new Horde Mode.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is a cooperative third-person shooter set within the Alien universe.

40th Anniversary Premium Edition — $69.99

For most players, the $49.99 Standard Edition should offer the best value. The additional $20 is primarily worthwhile for dedicated Alien fans who want the anniversary-themed cosmetic content.

Four-Player Cooperative Action
The original Aliens: Fireteam Elite supported teams of three. The sequel expands that limit to four players in both its campaign and Horde Mode.
Players can now enter missions with three friends, making class selection and squad coordination even more important. Each Marine brings different weapons and abilities to the team, encouraging players to create balanced squads instead of four identical characters.
The game is built primarily around cooperative player-versus-environment action rather than competitive multiplayer.
