Lake St. Clair, just north of Detroit, is the USA’s largest and busiest freshwater lake.
Every 4th of July, there is a spectacular fireworks show in Poor Mans Bay, featuring a fireworks barge that shoots off fireworks.
Poor Mans is a shallow area just outside of MacRay Harbor Marina.
The fireworks are courtesy of Belle Maer & MacRay Marina’s and the area is located in southern Anchor Bay/ northern Lake St. Clair.
Stop at Duffy’s Landing party store @ Belle Maer for your supplies.
There’s also a decorated golf cart parade from 1pm-3pm @ Belle Maer.
Fun time always. Check it out!
