The annual Great Lakes Boating Festival is a fun in-water boat show and a kickoff event for the Great Lakes boating season.
It takes place at the historic Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, one of the most prestigious yacht clubs in the Midwest, right on Lake St. Clair.
The festival showcases more than 70 boats from about 40 exhibitors.
Michigan has one of the largest boating economies in the USA because of the Great Lakes and Michigan’s 11,000+ inland lakes.
