The cities of Coldwater & Quincy, Michigan comprise a beautiful area and there are not one but TWO chains of lakes there!
The North Chain has 7 lakes.
The South Chain has 8 lakes.
Marble Lake is located on the south chain. At 780 acres, Marble is the second largest lake on the south chain.
Corn Island on Marble Lake also has a petting zoo and a bandshell dock where they have live music on weekends.
The Corn Roast Boat Party is always the last Sunday in July.

Coldwater-Short’s Root Beer Stand (378 W. Chicago St.) retro drive-in with carhop service. Try the 10pc chicken wings with ranch, Sloppy Teddy sandwich, coney dog
Coldwater-Willows Bar and Grill (716 W. Chicago St) cool bar with an outdoor patio overlooking the Coldwater River
Coldwater-Capri Drive-In Theater (119 W. Chicago St) circa 1964 drive-in movie theater which has been rated the 2nd best in the USA
Coldwater-Short’s on the Water (865 W. Channel Dr) convenience store & takeout restaurant. They have gas docks for boats in the back. They have breakfast pizza and biscuits and gravy from 8am-11am. They also have pizza and subs until 8pm. Try the Italian sub, Philly steak sub, meatball sub. As for pizzas, try the Taco pizza, BLT pizza, Coney Island pizza, Cheeseburger pizza, Supreme pizza, BBQ Chicken pizza. Make sure you get a side of the Famous Ranch. And their house-made cucumber salad is good.

Athens-Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary (1698 M-66) that’s right, alligators! This badass place is located about 30mins NW of Quincy. Live gators and giant tortoises! Check it out if you’re in the area.
