Michigan’s lake sturgeon are 135 million years old, they grow up to 7-feet long and weigh 150-lbs. These magical creatures are some of the best fish in our lakes.
Every year, the Friends of the St. Clair River put on a great event to celebrate everything sturgeon called the “Blue Water Sturgeon Festival.”
The annual event is offering two Sturgeon Cruises at 11am and 1pm to bring an immersive experience with big fish and small crowds, and is centered on providing close encounters with Lake Sturgeon from onboard the Huron Lady.
