The annual Biohack the Planet conference features lectures in the best of biology and a vibrant community. Food and drinks will be provided during the conference.

What is Biohacking? Biohacking is a term used to describe do-it-yourself biology. It involves people making incremental changes to their bodies, diet, and lifestyle to improve their health and well-being. Also known as human enhancement, biohacking ranges from efforts to improve brain function to faster weight loss. Some types of biohacks are relatively safe to try at home, while others may pose health risks and produce varying results. Some biohackers are currently trying to use CRISPR gene editing to alter their bodies.

The Open Discovery Institute (ODIN) exists to make biohacking easy to understand for people and help them explore Synthetic Biology and Science at home. They run a store to provide chemicals, equipment and materials on a scale and price that a DIY Scientist can use and afford.
