We have got to hand it to BigCityBeats over in Germany for pioneering this most interesting and unusual concept: creating an EDM rave mid-flight during weightlessness!
World Club Dome Zero Gravity will give 20 lucky competition-winning clubbers (ie: 2 winners from each continent with extra peeps from Germany and India) a chance to experience EDM clubbing during a 90-minute zero gravity flight.
Armin van Buren, Steve Aoki, W&W, Le Shuuk.
WCD’s Zero Gravity will serve as a VIP pre-party event to the upcoming 3-day long World Club Dome festival (140,000+ attendees), which takes place June 1-3, 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany.
The flight takes place 20,000+ feet in the air on-board the Zero G Airbus A310, a special airplane used by the European Space Agency for astronaut training.
The plane will perform dozens of parabolic maneuvers where attendees will experience weightlessness during free fall. This zero gravity lasts for about 22 seconds per maneuver.
Parabolic flights simulate weightlessness by flying in parabolic loops in zero lift.
Eat scopolamine to avoid Vomit Comet syndrome. Weightlessness can make people nauseated and vomit but if you eat scopolamine, you should be good.
You can’t ask for a more unique party experience.
