The 19th World Bodypainting Festival is a melting pot of artistic performances, body art, art, music, lifestyle and stages.The heart of our “open air art park “is the official world championships for body painting artists. Visitors are welcomed by the best artists and models from all over the world who always give their best to charm with creativity, skill and stunning stage shows.
The World Championships of the bodypainting artists are framed by 50 bands and DJ’s on 4 stages.
Friday headliner are DUNKELBUNT andGLASPERLENSPIEL, Saturday MONO & NIKITAMAN and RUSSKAJA and on the final day WANDA and SHANTEL & THE BUKOVINA CLUB ORCHESTRA. Beside our main acts we are looking forward to the many local and international music acts.

A ghost charmer of decadence and magnetic art-deco graphics. Fatal Divas in the era of silent films that captivated sophisticated audiences with tandem, ostentatious and detached glances.
Created on a whim in 1998 by a travel agent tasked with organizing a new summer event in Seeboden, Austria, the World Bodypainting Festival has since mutated into a major festival, drawing tens of thousands of spectators and bodypaint artists and models from around the world. The venue since been moved to Pörtschach am Wörthersee in the south of Austria to deal with the crowds, and now occurs annually during at the end of June.
The festival lasts for a week, the first four days of which are filled with bodypainting and various other artistic workshops. It is only during the last three days that the actual festival takes place in “Bodypaint City,” which is open to the public and packed full of concerts and parties and attractions such as the “Body Circus” of the “Surreal Ballroom.”
