Wilder v.s. Fury

The highly-anticipated Heavyweight World Championship re-match between WBC Champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder and unbeaten lineal Champion Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury.

The fight goes down Saturday, February 22nd at MGM Grand in Las Vegas and live on FOX and ESPN+ PPV.

Their last fight ended in a controversial split-draw.

Wilder v.s. Fury

Wilder is currently ranked as the world’s second best active heavyweight by BoxRecThe Ring magazine and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board. The undefeated Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KOs) is widely considered the greatest puncher in boxing history.

Fury is a British professional boxer who is 6’9″ tall.

Fury’s recently named trainer Detroit’s Javan ‘SugarHill’ Steward (nephew of Emanuel Steward) believes the mystique and technique of the famous Kronk Gym in Detroit will provide Tyson Fury the secret sauce in battle against Wilder.

‘We’re going to give him that punching power. It’s a Kronk secret. The Kronk style produces knockouts,” Steward told BoxingScene.com in an interview. “He wants to be more of a well-rounded fighter, and that’s why I was brought in.”
