Masters Walleye Circuit (Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan)

The Masters Walleye Circuit (MWC) is making a triumphant return to the St. Mary’s River this summer in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

Anglers will have many choices of where to fish, between Lake Superior, St Mary’s River, Lake Huron or the multiple other lakes and pools that intertwine and connect them all to find their 5-best walleyes through 2 days of fishing.

Teams may fish any (3) three events of their choice to earn points for the World Walleye Championship or any 4 events of choice to earn points for the Team of The Year Race.

The Bass Pro Shops / Cabela’s MWC is open to all two-person teams regardless of club or sponsor affiliation, however, all anglers must be members of The Walleye Federation or join at the time of registration. IF YOU WERE A TWF/MWC MEMBER IN THE PAST PLEASE USE THE SAME MEMBERSHIP NUMBER WHEN REGISTERING IN 2021.

Payouts are based on the number of paid teams fishing each event.

In addition, to a hefty check, the first-place team also earns a $1,000 Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s National Team Championship (NTC) prize package including paid entry, travel stipend, team jerseys and plaques. Additionally, the big-fish pot, option pot and sponsor bonuses of up to $7,000 from Ranger Cup, a $1,000 Lowrance bonus, Okuma Fishing reels, Berkley Fishing Big Fish package, Lowe Equipment Cash up to $500 and T-H Marine Atlas Awards adds more for distribution among the field.

Time:          7:00 a.m. take off; weigh in usually begins around 3:00 p.m.
