THANK YOU to all of the amazing United States Veterans out there and all of our brave men and women currently serving in the military.
Monday is Veterans Day, always observed on Nov. 11 on the anniversary of the signing of the armistice ending World War I at 11 a.m. on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.
Veterans Day is a federal holiday, it honors any member who served the U.S. armed services, living or dead.
Veterans Day honors those who have served the country in war or peace — dead or alive — although it’s largely intended to recognize living veterans for their sacrifices.
The annual national Veterans Day observance is held precisely at 11:11 a.m. every Nov. 11 at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery.
