The online listing for the $75.00 candle, which was made by the fragrance brand Heretic, describes it as “an unexpected scent, made with geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed to put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth.”
Gynecologist and resident Goop-debunker Jennifer Gunter kept it simple on Twitter: “As an expert in vaginal health, I am not sure I would associate all those scents with a normal vagina.”
