LA SALLE, Mich. – Firefighters are on the scene of a three-alarm fire Friday morning at the Toledo Beach Marina in La Salle, Mich.
There are no reports of serious injuries right now.
Toledo Beach Marina was owned by Timothy Gladieux and was formerly managed for thirty years by Paul Reed.
It is now owned by Safe Harbor Marinas, which is North America’s largest owner and operator of marinas.
Toledo Beach Marina is known as being one of the largest marinas on Lake Erie.
The marina has 420 slips.
Possibly up to 200 boats are burning.
Video posted to social media Friday morning shows the massive flames at a what appears to be a boat storage facility.
The marina is located about 45 minutes south of Detroit and about 20 minutes north of Toledo.
