The Price is Right is the longest-running game show in television history.
Entering its 48th season, Drew Carey is the current host and has been hosting the show for CBS since 2007. He took over from Bob Barker who hosted the show for 35 years from 1972-2007.
In Detroit, two people will be chosen to fly to Los Angeles.
Then one of them will get a spot on Contestant’s Row.
If auditioning, you will have only 30 seconds on camera to explain why you should be on the show.
You must be 18 and up, bring the completed application and a valid photo ID.
