Toadies are a cult-favorite Texas alternative-rock band that combines grunge-sized guitars with punk energy and dark, twisted Southern storytelling.
Formed in Fort Worth, Texas in 1989, their breakthrough was the 1994 album Rubberneck, particularly “Possum Kingdom.” The song became their signature hit and remains one of the more recognizable alternative-rock tracks of the ’90s.
