BAY CITY, MI – Discounted tickets for a summer tall ship visit to Bay City are available for purchase at Kroger grocery stores in Michigan.
The tickets are for Bay City’s maritime event called Tall Ship Celebration, where sailing ships from all over the world come to Bay City for attendees to board and learn more about them. The event is July 18-21.
Buyers will receive a $1 discount for every ticket or Souvenir Passport purchased at participating Kroger stores in Michigan.
Tall Ship Celebration announces 2019 fleet coming to Bay City
Eleven ships, some of which have traveled around the world, are coming to Bay City for the 2019 Tall Ship Celebration in Bay City from July 18-21.
“Kroger is pleased to partner with Tall Ship Celebration and to offer our customers this great opportunity to enjoy such a spectacular maritime event. The splendor and enjoyment the event brings to the area is very unique, and we know our Bay City friends and neighbors appreciate the support,” said Rachel Hurst, Corporate Affairs Manager for the Kroger Co. of Michigan in a news release.
Pricing for daily admission tickets and Souvenir Passports is the same, costing $8 until June 30 and rising to $10 starting July 1 without the dollar discount. The passports are needed in addition to an admission ticket for people who want to board the ships. Passports are good for the entire festival.
“We are delighted to partner with Michigan Kroger stores to sell tickets for our 2019 festival,” said Shirley Roberts, Tall Ship Celebration event coordinator.
