The annual Labatt Blue U.P. Pond Hockey Championship features:
Over 150 teams (1,000+ players) from all over the world, playing hockey on over 30 ice rinks.
This event is one of the largest North American pond hockey tournaments.
The format is a limited 4-on-4. Teams come from as far away as Florida and Texas and even other countries.
Teams are guaranteed to play 3 games over Friday & Saturday, with Championship games on Sunday.
The skill levels of players:
- A Level – This player is highly skilled. Has played Junior A or College
- B Level – Competitive Player. Former High School, Junior B or College Club player
- C Level – Less experienced recreational player
- Novice – Players that have not played organized hockey before the age of 21
