Detroit musician Sixto Rodriguez is turning 81 years old.
He was a street musician in Detroit in the 1960’s and 70’s who lived most of his life in extreme obscurity until decades later when he was “rediscovered”.
Rodriguez was the subject of a 2012 documentary Searching for Sugar Man.
