Mackinac Island is one of the crowning jewels of the State of Michigan. Off the coast of Mackinac is another gem, Round Island Lighthouse.
Located off Mackinac’s Biddle’s Point, Round Island Lighthouse was built in 1895, abandoned in 1947 and renovated in 1974.
Michigan has over 150 lighthouses! Round Island is one of the best, check it out!
Tickets for the tour are sold on a ‘first come/first serve‘ basis. The cost for transportation from Mackinac Island to Round Island is $15.00 per person (this includes a $5.00 charitable donation to Round Island Lighthouse Preservation Society.)
