It’s back, bigger than ever and fresh on the heels of a record 2016 display, the Parade of Lights on the Clinton River is set for August 5th, 2017.
This year Markley Marine has stepped it up and is offering a $1,500 first prize with 4 division winners of $100. While the money is nice all the proceeds go to help The Noble Odyssey Foundation (Sea Cadets of Harrison Twp.)
There is still room for a couple of boats, so get off your dingy and contact Julie @ (586)469-6000 to pre-register.
There is no cost to enter your boat and the bragging rights alone are worth it.
The parade starts at 8:45pm at Markley Marine, runs to the bridge – Then to the mouth of the lake and back to Markley Marine for the post-party bash!

Last year $8,400 was raised for the Detroit Animal Welfare Group. This is a family friendly boating event and there are two levels of sponsorships.
Gold $500.00 and Silver $250.00 Gold sponsors receive their logo on all the plaques, names on advertising, posters, The Harrison Twp. Parade of Lights-Facebook, Markley Website-Facebook and companies thanked for their support throughout the evening.
