The annual Nautical Coast Cleanup is St. Clair Shore’s longest and largest attended environmentally driven effort.
Since 1996, passionate volunteers (SCS resident or not) and local businesses have helped clean the shoreline.
Activities begin at event headquarters, Jefferson Yacht Club (JYC), with check-in, breakfast, and announcements. Following the morning’s efforts, everyone returns to the JYC for a Lake St. Clair celebration at noon – music, food, and drinks provided.

– Blossom Heath Park, Beach, & Pier (new to the Clean-up!)
– Chapaton (Pumping Station) Park
– Homeowner Association beaches, shorelines, and canal areas
