Major League Fishing (MLF) runs the annual Bass Pro Tour.
The season runs from March to September and includes seven regular-season tournaments. The last one is Lake St. Clair.
MLF also hosts an all-star event that highlights the top 40 anglers from the Bass Pro Tour with the highest cumulative weight from their single largest bass in each of the five regular-season events.
Each stage of the Bass Pro Tour includes six days of competition using the catch, weigh & immediate-release format.
This will be broadcast live on the Major League Fishing app, MyOutdoorTV (MOTV), and MajorLeagueFishing.com
In MLF Bass Pro Tour competition, anglers are vying for valuable points in hopes of qualifying for REDCREST, the world championship of professional bass fishing.
Also, in honor of the event, there will be the Bass, Brews and BBQ Festival.
The BBQ is going on from September 09-12 at Blossom Heath Park (St. Clair Shores).
Hours for the BBQ event are:
Thurs (5pm-9pm), Fri (5pm-9pm), Sat (Noon-9pm), Sun (Noon-9pm).
