Lost Boat Ceremony Muskegon

The Lost Boat Ceremony is a naval tradition that honors sailors who have lost their lives at sea and is practiced by many seafaring cultures around the world.

For almost 30 years, the USS Silversides Submarine Museum has held the ceremony to honor the bravery of submariners and reminds us of the importance of remembering their sacrifices.

The ceremony is free to the public with food provided by G&L hotdogs, plus other snacks and refreshments. There will be music by the West Michigan New Horizons Music Ensembles, a fly over from the Hooligans Flight team, and more!

The museum will be open for Memorial Day the following day.
