Joe Henninger, a property developer from Harrison Twsp, has a great idea to create jobs and bring some entertainment and recreation to the shores of Lake St. Clair.
The proposed plan is to redevelop the old Blue Horseshoe Island area (7317 Dyke Rd, Clay Township, Michigan).
The development includes putting in such amenities as:
4,200-square foot restaurant & bar, outdoor swimming pool, entertainment tent areas, live music stage and more.
A portion of it would be completed by 2020 and the entire area would be fully operational by Spring 2021.
The Jobbie Crew fully supports it! We’ve said for years that Lake St. Clair has been underutilized and under-developed. We need more hotels, bars, entertainment, live music venues, etc, in the area.
