Japan Opens World’s First Drive-Thru Funeral Home!

Things just got a whole lot easier for busy and/or disabled mourners who don’t want to get out of their cars. 

Earlier this month, Aishoden Funeral Home opened in Ueda, Nagano Prefecture, Japan

You pull up, sign an iPad guest book, view the body (or ashes), leave some condolence money, burn a stick of incense for luck and you’re good to go.

Pretty soon everything will be a drive-thru service and the pesky old timey days of walking anywhere will be a distant memory.
