One of the rarest, hottest, most sought-after beer releases in the global beer world every year is the KBS Beer from Michigan’s very own Founders Brewery.
Every year, Founders courageously hosts a dual release at Founders Brewery in Grand Rapids, Michigan and also at their Founders Taproom in Detroit, Michigan!
Founder’s KBS is an 12.3% Imperial Stout with chocolate and coffee flavors.
It is cave-aged in oak barrels underground. About 4,700 barrels of KBS are stored in gypsum mines 85-feet beneath Grand Rapids for 14 months.
It is the world’s most sought after bourbon-barrel aged beer.
They are releasing KBS via online ticket sales one week earlier for Detroit and Grand Rapids than the rest of the USA.

Cost of one ticket?

They will do a double location release at both Grand Rapids and Detroit.
What does a single ticket get me?
One ticket includes three 4-packs of KBS 12oz. bottles and one voucher for an 8oz. pour of KBS in either taproom until Sunday, March 31.
How many tickets can be purchased?
You can purchase up to two tickets maximum.
What abut the 750ml bottles?
Starting Friday, March 8th, you can purchase 750ml bottles in the Company Store at both locations.
When is bottle pickup?
March 8, 2019-March 10, 2019
11am-8pm
In Detroit, you will pick up your beer at the Warehouse entrance on thew NE side of the building next to the bike racks.

Yes, starting March 8th, the KBS will flow until it’s gone, which won’t be long, so get in there!
