The annual Grill on the Hill features a live BBQ cooking competition and tons of other fun stuff.
Open to any level of cooking skill. Come and compete with other grill enthusiasts and share your special skills and creativity with the “tasters” who will be on the search for the best BBQ. Sign up to be a competitor today!
BBQ lovers from all over are invited to spend the afternoon sampling all the different ribs, briskets and pork butt recipes – and then voting for their favorites.
All entries have to be cooked over charcoal or wood.
For adults 21 or older, the $35 ticket includes the following:
- T-shirt
- 12 BBQ tastings
- Ability to vote for “People’s Choice” best brisket, ribs and pork butt
- (4) beer samplings
Want to sign up as a grilling team? Sign-ups close this weekend, so act quickly. There is a $300 entry fee for each team, with up to four members allowed. Each team will get a 10-by-10 foot space for their cooking supplies, an 8-foot table, a trash bin, T-shirts, beer sample and tasting tickets for team members. Teams can choose one type of meat:
- #35 brisket
- #45 pork ribs (24 racks)
- #45 bone-in pork butt
