The annual Great Lakes Herb Faire is a great opportunity for herbalists to get together.
An herbalist is a trained professional who uses plants for healing and wellness, and may also grow or collect herbs. There is copious evidence of herbs as medicine in virtually every civilization that has appeared on earth – including ancient Egypt, China, India, Arabia, Europe, historical Britain, the indigenous peoples of Australia, and ancient Rome.
The event takes place primarily outdoors and classes are under large tents. The Faire is a family-friendly event.
The intention is to empower knowledgeable herbalists and beginners alike, providing a space for networking and sharing knowledge, and to strengthen our regional herbal community.
