Las Vegas couple Cory Mervis and Leslie Bocskor bought an old Ford Aerostar minivan on Ebay in 2007.
They turned it into the Goddard shuttlecraft from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
One year they brought it to Burning Man.
Unfortunately, the vehicle was not street legal, even though the man tried to make it so. They had to use a trailer to bring it there.
Bobby Strever, the artist of the Star Trek Shuttlecraft, has a background in engineering, art, science, drafting, architecture and music. He began working on cars at age 24. His mentors include his father and from high school, and Mr. Lopez his architect professor.
