What began as a small gathering of divers sharing shipwreck pictures has grown into the annual Gales of November, a two-day celebration of Great Lakes maritime history, shipping and diving.
Featured are exhibits, presentations on history and underwater archaeology and a silent auction of maritime-related items.
Gales of November is the main fundraiser for the Lake Superior Marine Museum Association (LSMMA) and helps to maintain and protect the maritime heritage of Lake Superior and the Port of Duluth-Superior.
You must become a member of LSMAA in order to attend Gales of November.
