Dave Coulier and his wife Melissa are building a new house on Lake St. Clair in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
Dave is an avid boater, huge Detroit Red Wings fan, and loves his native Michigan.
Born September 21, 1959 in St. Clair Shores, Dave grew up at Harper Avenue and 10 Mile Road.
He graduated Notre Dame High School (Harper Woods) in 1977 (where he played varsity hockey), then dropped out of the University of Michigan to pursue stand-up comedy and acting.
In 1979, he moved to Los Angeles and performed at The Comedy Store along with Bob Saget, Jim Carrey, Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams, etc.
Fun Fact:
Coulier lived on Bob Saget’s couch in the early 1980’s when they were both struggling comedians/actors.
Dave landed his big role as Uncle Joey and worked on ABC’s Full House from 1987-1995.
He has been an actor and comedian for 40 years.
