These guys rock!
The 3148s are a group of Michigan-based lawyers who are also musicians!
They ever so cheekily named their band after Section 3148 of the Michigan Insurance Code.
The code “provides that an attorney representing and advising a claimant in an action related to overdue personal protection insurance benefits is entitled to a reasonable fee.”
The 3148s are: Ian Coote (vocals, guitar, keys), Jason Seifert (bass), Tom Jones (drums), Greg Jones (guitar), and Jeff Smythe (guitar).
