Freshwater Fishing is a new series of workshops that will connect DNR staff with participants wanting to learn more specialty fishing.
DNR staff will discuss specific fish species, equipment recommendation, techniques and regulations. Participants will also have a chance to make their own equipment/tackle to take home and use.
One sure sign of summer is the white bass run in the Detroit River. Participants will make their own lures for white bass.
For ages 8 and older. Cost is $10 per person. Preregistration is required.
