The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is a high-quality support network of 16,000+ like-minded leaders across nearly 80 countries. EO helps entrepreneurs achieve their full potential through the power of life-enhancing connections, shared experiences, and collaborative learning.
Each year, one chapter selected to plan and host a multi-day event for 600 entrepreneurs. The annual immersive events include powerful speakers, offsite experiences, social activities, and peer-to-peer networking opportunities.
This year, EO is coming to Detroit.
The first of eight speakers to be announced is Lansing-native Magic Johnson, a Michigan State University standout, five-time NBA champion, 1992 Olympic gold medalist, two-time Basketball Hall of Famer, co-owner of the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA), Los Angeles Dodgers (MLB), and Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA), founder of the Magic Johnson Foundation, and chairman and CEO of Magic Johnson Enterprises.
Johnson also co-owns eSports franchise Team Liquid, and he continues to expand his influence through his many businesses that include EquiTrust Life Insurance Company and SodexoMAGIC, a food service and facilities management company.
In addition, through a joint-venture fund, Johnson is investing millions of dollars on infrastructure improvement across the United States.
In 2022, Johnson released his first non-fungible token project with Dapper Labs, leading the first ever successful Anthropology set in company history. He is currently expanding his business acumen into the metaverse, announcing his investment and ownership of a football and basketball team with SimWin Sports.
