We here at the Jobbie Crew love Eminem.
We’re long-time fans of Em’s music and we even remember back when he was working at Gilbert’s Lodge in St. Clair Shores. His talent and success have been inspirational.
In 1996, Eminem (24-years old) released his album called “Infinite.” Our favorite track on it is “Backstabber.” We also really like the track “Biterphobia” off his 1995 cassette tape from Soul Intent.
When Em released Infinite, it flopped hard, selling under two hundred copies. Just goes to show you: never give up!
The Bass Brothers (Mark and Jeff Bass) who essentially discovered Eminem, made a mini-documentary called “Partners in Rhyme: the True Story of Infinite.”
Eminem used to attend Jobbie Nooner openly. We hear he still does when he can but now he stays out on a big yacht in deep water. Em, if you’re reading this, thanks for all the great music, come join us on the Jobbie Crew’s pirate ship, The Mystic Maiden!
