Started in 1956, Elefantentreffen is a Winter motorcycle rally.
Also called the Elephant Motorcycle Rally, it takes place in the Bavarian Forest, Germany in the hilly snow-covered village of Thurmansbang.
Attended by 5,000-10,000 riders, the rally is full of vintage motorcycles, especially the Zundapp KS 601 and others.
Attendees pitch tents and camp on the hillside. Entry fee is EUR 25 (aka: $30.00) per rider.
