Detroit City Football Club (DCFC) is Detroit’s soccer team nicknamed “Le Rouge” and they have been tearing up opponents and attracting 6,000+ fans per game for the past few years now.
The Detroit City FC men’s team is set to begin its first full professional season, competing in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) beginning early 2020.
Plus, the DCFC fanbase, the Northern Guard, is numerous, ultra-supportive and hilarious.
That’s right, our own “Le Rouge” soccer team, is one of the best things to happen to Detroit. If you’ve never been to a game, you need to check it out.
They will be hosting tryouts! This event is free and open to general public spectators.

Time: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Cost: $50.00 per player/ spectators are FREE!
Age: players 18 and up
