The boat itself is a 2008 44-foot MTI Catamaran with twin 1,075 Supercharged Mercury V8 engines kicking out 2150hp and a top speed of 156-mph!
The paint job took Mark Morris at Visual Imagination (Peculiar, MO) over 1500+ hours to complete!
It has $250,000 in custom artwork and fabrication and a $100,000 custom interior with laser-cut billet graphics.
Designed by Marine Technologies (Wentzell, MO), the Bat Boat was formerly owned by Shawn Vinson and moored on the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. It is now owned by Eliot Gray in Brighton, Illinois.
In 2014, this boat won Offshore Powerboat Championship awards in St. Clair, Detroit and Port Huron.
