Bregenzer Festspiele (aka: Bregenz Festival) is a performing arts festival held annually in July and August in Bregenz, Vorarlberg, Austria.
It features the world’s largest floating stage which is situated on Obersee Bodensee (Lake Constance).
Started in 1946, the festival always features the Vienna Symphony Orchestra as the biggest contributor.
The Seebühne (or floating stage), is a 7,000 seat open-air amphitheater which floats on the water.
