Started in 1986, Burning Man, is an annual psychedelic festival in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada (about 9-hours NE of Las Vegas) where a temporary makeshift metropolis of 65,000+ people spreads 2-3 miles across the Playa.
Black Rock City is built, and then at the end, completely dismantled, leaving no trace.
This event is cash-less. Bring survival items and items to share. Most people wear crazy unusual costumes.
And on Saturday, they burn the giant 100-foot tall Burning Man.
