Our friend is selling his 2001 Silverton 330 Sport Bridge, currently located in Harrison Township, Michigan, and listed for $79,000 through Temptation Yacht Sales.
The big story here isn’t simply the boat’s size or layout. It’s how much has been put into it over the last three years.
From a major overhaul of both Crusader 8.1L engines to new electronics, canvas, upholstery, SeaDek, appliances and other mechanical improvements, the current owner has invested heavily in keeping this Silverton updated and ready to enjoy.

Let’s start in the engine room.
The Silverton is powered by twin Crusader 8.1L gas V8s producing 385 horsepower each, giving the boat 770 total horsepower.
Both engines underwent extensive work in 2025 and have accumulated only approximately 75 hours since the overhaul.
According to the listing, the work included:
- Main bearings and rings
- Complete rebuild of both cylinder heads
- New sensors
- New exhaust manifolds and risers
- High- and low-pressure fuel pumps
- Fuel injectors
- Water pumps
- Serpentine belts
- New starboard transmission

That’s a substantial list of work on some of the systems that matter most when shopping for an older cruiser.
The boat has a reported cruising speed of approximately 17 mph and maximum speed of approximately 26 mph.
A Lot More Boat Than “33 Feet” Suggests
Don’t let the Silverton 330 name fool you.
The boat measures 35 feet, 4 inches overall with a substantial 12-foot, 4-inch beam.
Silverton designed the 330 Sport Bridge around maximizing usable interior and entertaining space, and that’s one of the biggest attractions of the model.
There’s 6 feet, 5 inches of cabin headroom, a full-beam salon, forward stateroom, settee, dining area and plenty of storage.
The interior also features cherry wood cabinetry and accents that give the cabin a much warmer feel than you’ll find aboard many modern boats.
The Flybridge Is Made for Lake St. Clair
This is probably our favorite part.
A staircase from the cockpit takes you to an oversized flybridge with seating for approximately six to seven adults.
Up top you’ll find a wet bar, sink, refrigeration and plenty of room for friends to hang out while underway or sitting at the dock.
The bridge received several significant upgrades in 2024, including new upholstery and a new camper-style canvas enclosure.
For Michigan boaters, that enclosure is more than a cosmetic upgrade. It can make a huge difference during the cooler parts of our boating season and when Lake St. Clair decides not to cooperate with your plans.
The cockpit and flybridge also received new SeaDek flooring in 2025.
Modern Electronics at the Helm
The boat may have been built in 2001, but the electronics haven’t been frozen in time.
A Raymarine Axiom 9 was added in 2024, and the electronics package includes:
- GPS
- Chartplotter
- Radar
- Autopilot
- VHF radio
- Depth sounder
- Depth, speed and water-temperature instrumentation
- Compass
- Remote spotlight
For entertainment, there’s also a JL/Fusion three-zone sound system along with two TVs.

The 330 Sport Bridge isn’t just a big day boat.
It’s equipped for weekends aboard and longer Great Lakes cruising.
The cabin has two air-conditioning and heating units, while the electrical system includes shore power and a Kohler generator with approximately 620 hours.
The galley includes an electric stove, microwave, sink, pressure water, hot-water heater and a refrigerator/freezer replaced in 2025.
There’s also an electric head with vanity and sink along with something we particularly appreciate on a cruiser this size: a separate shower stall.
Tank capacities include:

- 30-gallon holding tank
Whether you’re spending the weekend around Lake St. Clair, heading up the St. Clair River or taking a longer Great Lakes trip, this is a boat designed for actually living aboard rather than simply finding somewhere to sleep.
Plenty of Room for Swimming, Rafting and Hanging Out
At the stern, the Silverton has a swim platform, boarding ladder, transom door, transom shower and storage.
Translation: it’s ready for the stuff we actually like doing on Lake St. Clair.
Drop anchor, turn up the stereo, jump in the lake, raft up with friends and stay out for the weekend.
There’s also a newer electric windlass, bow pulpit and anchor locker when it’s time to drop the hook.

And underneath all of those improvements is a layout that still makes a ton of sense for Lake St. Clair.
You’ve got a huge flybridge, room for friends, a wet bar, three-zone stereo, swim platform and cockpit for summer days, plus a legitimate cabin, generator, HVAC, full galley and separate shower when you want to spend the night.
It’s basically equal parts floating cottage and Lake St. Clair party platform.
