The World Waterfalls Database is a massive collection of global waterfalls.
Founded in 2004 by Bryan Swan and Dean Goss, both recognized as foremost authorities on the subject of waterfalls, the goal of the World Waterfall Database is to ultimately inventory, catalog and present as much information as possible about as many of the planets waterfalls.
There are 17,082 waterfalls listed in the United States alone.
Olo’upena Falls (Hawaii) is the tallest. Celilo Falls (Oregon) has the highest volume of water. And Yosemite’s Wapama Falls is the highest rated.
