On Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2 pm, the Viking Sky cruise ship ran into trouble off the coast of Norway while cruising the Norwegian Sea’s Hustadsvika Bay.
All of the 48,000 ton ship’s 16 engines failed.
They were 3,000 feet from shore and only 300 feet from striking rocks.

They were stranded in rough seas during a terrible storm.
The ship had left Tromsoe, Norway and was headed to Stavanger, Norway but they didn’t make it.
High winds rocked the massive ship violently, throwing passengers around like rag dolls.
Massive waves pummeled the ship, flooding the boat with 6-feet of water.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities.
5 helicopters airlifted passengers to safety.
