Tattooist Jason Stieva creates incredible pieces of assemblage art in his spare time, using parts found in antique shops and flea markets.
Officially titled ‘Leviathan-Ark of the Apocalypse‘, this sculpture took over 15 months to complete this ghostly pirate ship which measures 8 feet high, 7.5 feet long, and about 2.5 feet wide.
The ship is now in the home of a private collector who also had Stieva tattoo the image of a ghost ship across his chest.
Stieva owns his own tattoo studio in Whitby, Ontario, Canada called Sinful Inflictions.
Stieva says “Sculpting is a lot different than tattooing which I can do anytime,”.“With sculptures, I have to be in the mood to work on them and not be forced with deadlines.”
Stieva went down to the most minute detail with this creation, including the in-depth features of the monstrous crew which had to be handcrafted individually.
