Detroit’s best 90s tribute band, Smells Like Flannel, will be playing live in St. Clair Shores!
Some cover bands are astonishingly skilled. This is one such talented group of musicians. Many times, faithfully reproducing another band’s sound can be even harder than writing your own music.
Some groups started as cover bands: The Beatles famously played hundreds of covers in Hamburg, West Germany (1960-62). In the early 70s, Van Halen was called Mammoth and were a great cover band in Pasadena, California. And even early Led Zeppelin drew heavily from blues covers.
