The “pod” craze is back.
Thanks to Scottish distillery Glenlivet, they have invented Scotch Pods.
These “glass-less cocktails” are 23ml edible pods.
When drinking Scotch, traditionally, you’re supposed to take your time, savor, and enjoy, it’s not meant to be an explosion of fire all at once.
Scotch is whiskey made in Scotland with malted barley. Bourbon is whiskey made in the USA distilled from corn.
However, what it really is is a good marketing ploy, because here we are talking about it and Glenlivet has succeeded in creating more brand awareness with it.
